"All in all this is a pretty smoking burner. It reads fast, writes faster, has perfect DAE, and reads scratched and damaged disk very well. It comes with enough goodies to get people started who've never burned a CD before, and works great out-of-the-box. I can't honestly complain at all about the performance, or the noise of this drive. If you can find a better drive for this kind of money, I'd be happy to give it a spin. It's a really good drive."
