Seagate Backup Plus Slim External USB 3.0 2TB Hard Drive Review

latest longhorn beta - latest longhorn beta
Sat, March 15 2003 | 2:05PM | PermaLink Feedback?
Something interesting here. Using default drivers included with Longhorn, I get MUCH better ATTO benches than in Win2k or XP. No 4in1's installed, and HPT driver version 2.32 (that's what it comes with). All benches were done on the same partition, just while in a different O/S. According to PowerStrip, both O/S'es use a default latency on the HPT controller of 64. The array is two WD400BB's (2mb cache) set to cable select, 5GB/5GB/64GB with 16k stripe/4k cluster NTFS, HPT372/BIOS ver. 2.32, KX7-333R/2400+@2405mhz (12x200).
