Seagate Backup Plus Slim External USB 3.0 2TB Hard Drive Review
the game supports DX9 - the game supports DX9
Sat, March 15 2003 | 1:50PM | PermaLink Feedback?
I just posted the review (loaded with screens of course). What's also of interest is that the game supports DX9, and has a framerate display along with replay saving/playing capabilities, which might make it a decent benchmark utility. Anyways, here's a quote: And it really is more accurate to call it a sim rather than a game, because even when in "simple" mode, you still need practice to get the hang of it. Brakes aren't just used for stopping, and the gas pedal isn't just used to gain speed. Just like the real thing, your use of the brakes and throttle helps you "guide" your car along the best line around the track. Don't worry though, because there's tutorials for everything, and you'll be up to speed (ha!) in no time flat (ha, again). And just like in real life NASCAR racing, your tires are your life-blood. They'll wear out over time, and tire management is a must if you want to win races. You have to strike a balance between tire wear and speed so as not to wear your tires out too fast. One too many pit stops could cost you the race. And speaking of pit stops, you better believe that the pit action is realistic as well. If you don't learn to stop in the right place, you're in big trouble.
