Pat later gave the audience an update to the sensor technology that was shared in previous IDFs.
He re-enforced the idea of using sensor networks to enable the monitoring of environment to enrich
lives and bring efficiency to industry-type applications. Pat also talked about the idea of enabling
location awareness computing that allows systems to know the location of objects or even locating
the position of a worker, for example, on the manufacturing floor.
