As a CD-ROM, the BenQ drive was really just an average performer too. The biggest
weakness here is its erratic CD-RW reading performance, where the various tests scores
in Nero CD Speed didn't convince us that the BenQ drive is capable of matching up to
some of the better CD-RW/CD-ROM drives that we have seen.
