"On the 3rd and 4th of February, Sun Microsystems held a two day developers conference at the London Hilton Metropole. Seeing as Java is the core teaching language on my degree course I thought it would be beneficial to my education to attend. Which, loosely translated means that two days off lectures and the potential for free stuff is fairly appealing to a student."
