Overall Mitsumi have created a very pleasing drive, the 485E TE lives up to its 48x reading speeds and was able to write error free to CD-R's at 48x. While the drive is only able to write CD-RW's at 12x this isn't too much of a problem considering the price point Mitsumi are aiming the drive at. I can definitely recommend the Mitsumi 485E TE if you are looking for a reliable good value CD-RW drive.
