I swear by MP3 players simply because they are so compact and easy to carry around. Modsynergy seem to be of the same mind as they check out the Neuros 128MB MP3 Player here. The TuneBelt Armband (AB1) and Belt (MD2) MP3/MiniDisc Carrier gets written up at Futurelooks, while the Crucial 128MB Gizmo Drive (which isn't an MP3 player) manages to get a "everyone's making these things","shame", and "nitpicking". Ouch. PCStats reviewed the Crucial Gizmo right here, and I can tell you right away it is a really handy storage device. And in other MP3-related news, HardExtreme review the Golden Shiny Hard Extreme Super... hehe, just kidding... they've tested the Eumax 5-in-1 MP3 Player.
If you're looking to burn some audio CD's with hundreds of MP3's, might I suggest you read PCstats latest guide: Burning CDs and DVDs
or perhaps Optical Drives & Recording Formats. Once you get through those two guides, park your mouse on ClubOC's review of the MicroStar International DR4-A DVD +/-R Writer.
Envy look at a remote control for the iPod while Pioneer's DVR-A06 4x DVD±RW drive spins out of control at Dukgamers. In fact, since we're on the topic of optical drives, I should also bring your attention to Pyroport (what kind of name is this for a review site?) and their look at the Plextor PX-708a combo DVD Rewriter.
Says Geeklyreview; "The Sound Blaster Extigy strives to bring 24-bit multi-channel output with up to 100 dB Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) clarity in a clean external box allowing for standalone capabilities with a home entertainment system. Let us see how it stacks up as a lower budget surround card." RB mods test out a 5.1 channel audio rig, while yet another MSI X48 CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo Drive goes under the gun at explosivelabs.
