DFI, maker of the award winning LANParty series of motherboard, today officially launches industry's first corporate sanctioned LAN gaming team, [TeamDFI]. With the mission of promoting LAN gaming in North America through LAN party participation, [TeamDFI] is a selected group of gaming enthusiasts who enjoy gaming on the DFI powered platform. As DFI's goodwill ambassadors, these team members are also well known in the gaming community for the various games they specialize in. To show the gaming performance a LANParty motherboard can bring to an enthusiast, [TeamDFI] will game on LP gaming systems and will host [TeamDFI] challenges throughout the year. With the launch of the new LANParty NFII Ultra B motherboard, [TeamDFI] has selected Columbus Frag Fest as its first LAN party to unveil this highly anticipated motherboard. At Columbus Frag Fest on November 15 and 16, the team will host a TeamDFI Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory challenge. This popular game requires a minimum of 7 players per team and can truly bring the best of LAN gaming out of every gamer. Everyone is invited to play against the team and has an opportunity to be one of the firsts in North America to bring the motherboard home.
