According to Digitimes, recordable DVD drive sales are up.
Lite-On IT’s August revenues grew by 12.6%, mostly because of increased
shipments of DVD+RW drives and slim-type optical storage drives. Monthly shipments
of the two product lines in August were estimated at about 100,000 units each.
