Macromedia MX 2004 - Macromedia MX 2004
Fri, August 29 2003 | 10:51AM | PermaLink Feedback?
Web monkies of the world unite - the next installment of Macromedia's MX package has been launched.

""The MX 2004 products are evolutionary in their approach, as you will see when you dig deeper into each one. Whereas the initial MX products blazed a new, uncharted trail, the MX 2004 versions make the path cleaner, wider, and easier to traverse. They streamline development in a rich, meaningful way, and are even more powerful when used together in Macromedia Studio MX 2004. With the MX 2004 products, Macromedia is raising the bar even higher knowing that our customers will, once again, take the lead and go in amazing new directions. We’re also expanding the MX universe beyond products with MX Elements and Halo. MX Elements are a series of interface building blocks with a new generation of interactive design patterns embedded – making it faster for customers to build effective interfaces. These elements bring together a range of technologies including: components, templates, CSS style sheets, behaviors, and more. MX Elements, by default, have a distinctive new look and feel we call Halo. Halo is inspired by the properties of light, and we think it will make the digital world a brighter, more friendly place."
