The 18-year-old suspect is said to have already been questioned by the FBI, which is expected to reveal further details later on Friday. The MSBlast worm was responsible for one of the worst computer security outbreaks of this year. It spread quickly across the internet a couple of weeks ago, infecting hundreds of thousands of Windows computers worldwide. The youth is not believed to be the creator of the original MSBlast worm, also known as Lovsan.
Instead he is suspected of altering the worm into a variant that did more damage than the original. Reports suggest he is likely to be arrested by the end of the day.
