Take some corduroy and a couple of zips. Add some wiring, a battery, a speaker and microphone and get sewing.
Hey presto, you have a Wearaphone, which Orange is suggesting you might like to try if hands-free mobile communications is a requirement.
The Wearaphone does work. Users slap their phone into a pouch and then sling the Wearaphone over a shoulder and under the opposite arm.
In this position, a speaker sits on your shoulder with the phone in front. Pull a cord on the Wearaphone and you can dial using your voice, or simply tap the phone through the clear plastic on its pouch. You can even carry other objects in a separate pouch.
Orange suggests several models from Nokia that are compatible with the Wearaphone.
