Westone Universal Series UM2 In-Ear Monitors - Westone Universal Series UM2 In-Ear Monitors
Mon, August 25 2003 | 1:30PM | PermaLink Feedback?
Since the Westone UM2s are universal fit monitors, you don't need to have any special impressions of your ear taken. While nothing beats the fit and seal offered by a custom ear mold, the universal fit design saves a lot of time and money if you're planning on getting a pair of in-ear monitors. The UM2s use one size replacable foam tips which offer a great seal and when correctly inserted, offers up to 25 dBs of sound isolation which makes it great for use onstage. There is an initial learning curve to get the monitors to fit right but once you're used to it, inserting and removing the monitors are a snap.
