Ultrasone has two different versions of their HFI-650 headphones, namely the Trackmaster and DVD Edition. They basically differ in terms of applications for which they were designed. According to Ultrasone, the Trackmaster was designed for music production, studio monitoring and hi-fi while the DVD edition was designed for home cinema/DVD and hi-fi applications. Both headphones look almost identical and are based on a closed design which means that the transducers are completely concealed in an enclosure hence the name. Out of the box, both headphones felt very sturdy and are fairly compact in dimensions.
