Seagate Cheeta 15k.3 SCSI HDD - PCstats.com Seagate Cheeta 15k.3 SCSI HDD
Fri, August 01 2003 | 4:23PM | PermaLink Feedback?
SCSI ppl will like this. Nexus Hardware has the Seagate Cheeta 15k.3 HDD up for review. Damn this thing is fast!

Since the last generation (the Cheetah X15 36LP) the platter density has doubled to 18GB per platter, and the performance of the 15K drive has increased. The 15K.3 comes with 8MB of cache, an ultra320 interface, and is also backward compatible w/ ultra160 as well. The drive that will be reviewed today has a 68pin interface (rather than 80pin which is used for hot-swap), and its capacity is 36.7GB.
