I guess this is the budget version of the popular CoolerMaster Aero... PureOC
has the scoop
on the Aero4 Lite.
The design of the heatsink itself raises some questions to me. For one,
the base seems to be quite thick. I don't have the resources to check the effectiveness
of a given heatsink design in a scientific manner, but I do have a rich experience
when it comes to air-cooled CPU's. Something tells me the design would perform
better with about half the base thickness, and some added height to the fins.
There's a total of 29 fins on the heatsink and the fins themselves are placed
pretty tight together.
