Legion Hardware has a blurb on the upcomin VIA PT800 chipset. It looks like
a decent budget chipset, take a look at what they have to say here.
VIA Technologies are about to unleash a new generation of chipsets designed
to be used with the Intel Pentium 4 processor. This new series will be simply
dubbed PT and the first chipset you will see emerge from this series
will be named the PT800. Previously, VIA offered a number of Pentium 4 chipsets
based on the P4X series which are now obsolete. The P4X based chipsets did not
create all that much success for VIA due to legal implications that have now
been settled.
