The thing here that bothered us was its erratic CD-ROM reading performance. The various tests scores obtained in Nero CD Speed just didn't convince us that the Lite-On 52x32x52x drive was capable of matching up to some of the other CD-RW/CD-ROM drives that we have reviewed previously. In addition to that, the Lite-On 52x32x52x's digital audio extraction performance was really just average and could have been much better.
