I personally think these new KT400A boards such as the Gigabyte 7VAXP-A Ultra or MSI KT4A Ultra are very good value solutions. Both boards offer excellent performance and a great deal of features making them viable solutions for all users. Because KT400A boards generally cost no more than the current KT400 solutions I guess there really is no reason to question the chipset’s purpose as it offers marginally better performance.
