Honestly, the NEC VERSA S900 isn't exactly one of the better notebooks based on the Centrino Mobile Technology around. Not that it is a bad notebook, but it's one of those products where you'll either love it because you're a brand loyalist, or you simply won't. Our biggest gripe with the S900 notebook was its abysmal performance in the battery life tests, where it couldn't even outlast the D600 despite having a higher battery capacity.
