i865PE Springdale - i865PE Springdale
Tue, May 27 2003 | 12:57PM | PermaLink Feedback?
"Well what can we say about overclocking? They say for a Springdale board to be considered an enthusiast one, it should at least hit the "g" spot of 250mhz FSB. Well this board just did that and more. At 273mhz FSB (1092mhz QDR) rock solid and memory running at full DCDDR437 using the most aggressive CAS timings of 2-5-2-2, the lowly Pentium 4 2.4C processor registers at 3.28 Ghz! Even incredible is that it achieved the feat using just a cheap heatsink and with the cpu core voltage at 1.45v (default). How can you complain about that?"
