"The setup goes like this, you plug the access point into a hub/switch and it acts as just another part of the wired network except anything connecting to it will be wireless. The wireless network card just plugs into the laptop's PCMCIA slot and does the job of a normal network card except of course in a wireless way. I ordered this stuff from www.ebuyer.com as I know them to be pretty cheap.."
