Legion Hardware plays around with the new
Thermalright SLK800U and SLK900U Heatsinks...
Over a year ago now Thermaltake introduced the first universal heatsink
design when they released the Volcano 7+. This allowed the heatsink to be used
on both Intel and AMD platforms. With just a quick and simple clip change the
Volcano 7+ could be transformed to suit either the AMD Athlon XP/Duron or Intel
Pentium 4/Celeron processors. While this may not be a feature most users are
going to get overly excited about it does offer a few advantages. This kind
of feature makes buying either an AMD or Intel cooler much easier as there is
ideally only one solution.
