Fri, March 26 2004 | 2:26PM | PermaLink Feedback?
“Back in 1998, Konami released Metal Gear Solid for Playstation 1, which is still considered one of the greatest games of all time. It revolutionized the action game genre with an intriguing storyline, out of this world graphics (at the time at least) and innovative game play. MGS 1 also created a new subgenre of stealth games, which now has many games such Splinter Cell that follows the basic form of sneaking around the game environment. It’s now 2004, and Konami, with the help of Canadian based developer Silicon Knights, has released Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes exclusively for GameCube. Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes is essentially the original game with a facelift. The updated version boasts new graphics, new cinematic cut scenes, and borrowed gameplay elements from the PS2 sequel Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty. "
