Intel also showcased 2 new chipsets at the Cebit. The Alderwood and the Grantsdale are the successors of the Canterwood and Springdale chipsets. Both chipsets support the latest Pentium 4 CPU’s and the Pentium 4 CPU’s yet to come that use the new socket LGA 775. Both also will have DDR2 support, PCI Express and high definition audio on board. Besides all that Grantsdale also features a high resolutions graphics chip with “Dual Independent Display” technology. Grantsdale also has the option to function as a “Wireless Access point”
