Looks like UMC is throwing around a lot of $$$! They're going to buy
SiS Microelectronics from SiS... Looks like AMD will be launching the Socket 939
Newcastle chips in Q2 as expected.
Cray
is going to build a cluster machien based on AMD's Opteron processors! I guess
that's good news. This is suppose to be a good
year for chip anufacturers...
