To those of you who are lucky enough to have a Sony PSP, Sony is warning against updating the software with the stuff that's poping up on the web. Apparently it can damage the unit so you've been warned!

Sony Computer Entertainment has cautioned users of its recently-launched PlayStation Portable (PSP) against installing a software file currently available on some enthusiast Web sites. The file at first glance appears to add several new features to the handheld gaming device when installed but the result is quite different.
