Dell CEO thinks that the iPod is a fad,
what do you think?
I don't know, I think the iPod will be successful as long as people listen to
MP3's. I hope this guy goes to jail the rest of his life for duping share holders
and investors, a former
WorldCom executive is about to face the music. Videogame
sales are up 8% in 2004 lead by GTA: San Andreas and Halo 2. Online music stores
aren't doing very well and the guys who wrote the blurb make some good points.
Marcus wrote in and makes a good case for why he believes the iPod is not a fad. "I don't think the ipod is a fad at all. It is a opening for a new portable media market. As I was reading the article, this guy was refering to the Sony Walkman which was wildly popular a few years ago. I agree with the popularity of the product and it is true that you do hear about them anymore, but a more important thing happened. Many other companies made them and this little device paved the way to portable CD players and even to this day the products are still on sale everywhere... The ipod itself may not be here to stay, but I truly believe that it has pioneered a trail which media companies will be venturing for decades to come."
