Well it looks like Soyo
is getting out of the motherboard business. Foxlink did pretty well
in the second half considering they manufacturer iPods for Apple. In the DRAM
wars, Hynix slipped a bit to number three in the 3rd quarter of 2004 while
Micron gained... Samsung is still first by a lot though! I guess this is not much
of a surprise, Motherboard manufacturers expect shipments to decline
in November. Retail nForce4 boards should be out soon as nVIDIA is shipping
both A02 and A03 versions of the chipset.
