Seagate Backup Plus Slim External USB 3.0 2TB Hard Drive Review

AMDs newest processor - AMDs newest processor
Fri, August 20 2004 | 7:10PM | PermaLink Feedback?
I hope you all have a great weekend, and if anyone is working on a case mod project, be sure to post your pictures in the PCstats Forums, and let us know about it!

In the mean time, here is some of the latest tech news to tide you over until Monday... Techware Labs has AMDs newest processor, the Athlon 64 3800+ utilizing the new Socket 939 on the test bench today. They boys also found time to test out a Chaintech SUMMIT SKT600 Motherboard, DFI LanParty NForce II Ultra Revision B, Soyo Raptor SY-PS400 powersupply, some Crucial Ballistix PC4000 DDR Memory, and the JetAudio iAudio M3 20GB MP3 Player!

Viperlair have been around for a while, so it is no surprise to find them busting out a bunch of case and optical drive reviews today (ok, maybe not just today - been busy here ;-)) Here are some of the highlights; the Coolermaster Centurion 5 case, AMD Athlon 64 3000+, Ultra X-Connect PSU, AOpen Com5232 CDRW, Flexiglow's latest mouse pad, and HIS' Excalibur X800 Pro videocard.

As a matter of fact, a lot of HIS videocards have been getting tested lately...

PCMechanic has begun a new column called "Opensource Spotlight". This column reviews an Opensource (free) application everyweek. This week, Miranda IM was reviewed. Writing Under the Influence, Ken Circeo reveals the lighter side of the rough and tumble computer industry. The column is at once witty and truthful, and its humorous tone fills a critical void in an industry that often takes itself all too seriously. Neoseeker tests out a couple new motherboards tonight, including the Soltek's K8AN2E-GR, and DFI LanParty NFII Ultra B.

Mushkin's PC3200 222 Level II makes waves at OCtools, while Madshrimps goes mad over the Special edition DDR from Mushkin.
