Talk about ouch for the US military. Documents were leaked
online through peer to peer software. ATi is getting better with chipsets and
its RS690
looks pretty tastey. Even though Microsoft Vista is available for business users,
many are waiting
for mainstream January 30th release.
Everything has to be ready for that date. ATI, for example, did great work
with its Direct 3D drivers and most of the games works now under Vista 32 bit,
but it is not yet ready to show off the OpenGL driver. Crossfire support is
working but inside the elvish ATI shop. It is still not as polished as ATI wants
it to be.
