The war between teens and authority figures has a new -- or old -- front: ears. At issue is a text-message ringtone that emits a high-pitch frequency that most teenagers can hear -- but not most adults who are over 30.

Test yourself by listening to this MP3 of the high-frequency ring tone to see if your ears are still sensitive enough to catch on... the sound you hear (or don't) it's in the 15KHz range.
