Shipments from major Taiwan-based motherboard makers Asustek, Gigabyte Technology and Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) are likely to set records in September due to earlier shipments for the upcoming national holiday in China starting on October 1, according to the Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN).
