Nvidia, which scheduled to migrate to 80-nanometer (80nm) manufacturing process in the fourth quarter of 2006, will start shipments of its G73-B1 graphics chip manufactured on an 80nm process by the end of this September, according to the Chinese-language Commercial Times. Nvidia's 80nm manufacturing process will kick off at the 12-inch Fab 12 of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) ahead of schedule, noted the paper.
