The job cuts at Intel have quietly started. The ATi R600 has been taped out and is on track for a Q4 2006 release. Microsoft's own employees prefer Google over MSN search.

According to Techweb, Andrew Hitchcock posted Google Analytics statistics on visitors to his Web site. He said that of the users originating from Microsoft's domain who reached Hitchcock's site via a search engine, 80 percent came through Google. Only 20 percent used a Microsoft search engine.
