Nanya expects the ASP of DDR2 to increase 10% in March. ECS and MSI see a 40% year to year growth in February in motherboard output, Asus and Gigabyte only see about 15%. CMC and Ritek unexpectedly report revenues growing in February.

CMC Magnetics and Ritek, the top two makers of optical discs in Taiwan, reported February revenues growing on month 11.3% and 3.24%, respectively. The result is in direct contrast to earlier predictions of about a 10% drop made by institutional investors in the local bourse.
