Particularly when overclocked the Celeron was very difficult to distinguish from the Pentium 4 without starting up a very processor intense program. Despite what graphics card you use, the Celeron D is going to be at least 10~30% slower than a Pentium 4 processor. Slower graphics cards will see slightly lower performance margins and this is where users can benefit from a Celeron D processor.
