DRAM output slowed in November but DDR2 popularity is increasing. Dell and HP notebook orders will climb in 2006. Intel expects to ship 241 million processors in 2009.

Intel will see strong growth for its x86 chips in mobile PC processors and server processors, with moderate growth for desktop PC processors over the next several years, reports In-Stat Overall, shipments of Intel processors will rise from 153 million units in 2004 to 241 million in 2009, the high-tech market research firm says.
