The Pentium D 840 costs more than twice as much as the 820 processor tested here today. For just $360 AUD the Pentium 4 820 is an absolute bargain, particularly for overclockers. This high-end desktop processor can easily take on the most extreme Intel and AMD processors once overclocked. After all, there are no Intel processors that come clocked at 4.0GHz let alone 4.2GHz.
