Not going to compete with Nano - Not going to compete with Nano
Thu, September 22 2005 | 4:41PM | PermaLink Feedback?
No name brand flash MP3 players are temporarily withholding products to avoid competing with the Nano.

Distributors of non-branded MP3 players in Taiwan will either temporarily withdraw those products from the market or decrease supply to avoid competing head-to-head with the popular iPod nano when the Apple Computer NAND flash-based MP3 player first hits the Taiwan market, according to sources in the local retail channel.

DDR2 memory is gaining popularity. ECS is targetting China for motherboard shipment growth. Hynix is to triple DRAM testing in Taiwan in the fourth quarter.
