GeForce users might be happy to hear that the latest Forceware
81 series drivers have leaked onto the web.
In 3Dmark 05 we managed to score some 600 marks more and in each and every
game we tested we averagely increased our performances by roughly 10 frames.
This is a big deal, and we believe that our friends at Nvidia held its performance
back in previous drivers. This has happened many times before and we already
wrote about it here and in the early days of the INQ, here.
ATi confirms that it is in volume
production of R5xx VPUs. Well this is good news if you like to wait, Microsoft
says it will cut
prices for Xbox 360 in a year's time.
