This is pretty cool if you live in San Francicso, Google opens up some free
Wi Fi hot
spots. P2P companies are trying to cash
out and go legit at the same time. Videocards will use GDDR4
memory in 2006.
Once announced, GDDR4 will start working at the similar speeds of top GDDR3
chip but it will use less wats and will be easier and cheaper to produce. At
least thats the plan. SO you can imagine that this memory should start around
800MHz efficiently 1600 MHz if not even higher.
Here is some interesting info on nVIDIA's upcoming 80.xx series Forceware
drivers.
Also, Rel80 supports different clocks on chips, so you can actually have
a maximum overclock on both cards, regardless of the clock itself, mixing 7800GTX
with 478/1310 MHz and 495/1340 - should be no problem at all.
