SiS announced today that it has signed a long-term licensing contract with Intel Mobile Products Group for the manufacture and sale of chipsets supporting the Intel Pentium M processors with a 533MHz front side bus. SiS long-term dedication and record of innovative solutions to computer chipset research and commitment have received industry wide recognition. The new SiS656MX, SiS649MX, SiSM661MX, SiSM662MX, and SiSM670MX 533FSB mobile chipsets will support either PCI Express technology or AGP8x GPU’s, integrated GPU or open architectures, serving today’s sophisticated market requirements for cost and performance flexibility.
