"Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is part of a long running RPG series from
Intelligent Systems. It brings together role-playing and fantasy, creating
a diverse world which will keep any Fantasy lover on the edge of their
seat. This game takes place when the Grado Empire invades the neighbouring
country of Renais. Thrown into an unexpected war, only a handful of Renias
' army is able to escape from the Grado Empire. Among them are the Twin
Heirs to the Renais throne, Eirika and Ephraim. They embark on a journey
to discover the truth behind this unprovoked assault on their kingdom. As
the game progresses, they learn that they must stop the Grado Empire from
destroying five sacred stones, magical artifacts from the distant past.
These stones are the keys that prevent evil forces from being unleashed
once again onto the peaceful world of Magvel."
