While the doors are open, you’ll notice the grooves in the drive bays that allow for screwless assembly of drives. Thermaltake did not eliminate the option of still using screws however as some may still be more comfortable at the idea of having everything secure and fastened. This applies to the 5.25” devices, but they didn’t forget about your floppy drives and hard drives in case you were worried. For these smaller devices Thermaltake resorted to using small locking mechanisms made of plastic that help make your drive installation completely tool-less. The next interesting feature about this case is the PCI slots. Those should catch your eye pretty quickly through the side window, or when you remove the side panel. The green and purple lock mechanism is very helpful in the installation process because all you have to do to remove a PCI slot cover is unlock it, then reach around to the back with a screwdriver and applying the slightest pressure will pop the cover right out with no effort at all.
