UPDATE: Citrus Micro.com, an online Epox motherboard reseller wrote in to PCSTATS to say that "Epox have re-located but are still going with some stock, website is back online again and such." Furthermore CitrusMicro state they "Can confirm we have talked to Epox rep. just this AM and they are not gone, yes there was a brief time that no one was able to be reached here in the US at least, and the site was down... not any longer although."
The current Epox situation is a little odd, as a new company called Supox appear to have picked up where Epox left off. At least according to this article on Xbit. To be frank, we're not entirely sure if Epox is still a company that co-exists with Supox, or if Supox has taken over all of Epox inventory and manufacturing.
This according to OCworkbench.... so take it as a rumour until fully confirmed.
"It looks like second tier motherboard manufactuer EPoX has kicked the bucket - rumour has it staff haven't been paid for as long as two months. Despite the last update to their website being over a month old with a link to our EPoX MCP68 Review; the company seems recalcitrant to acknowledge its insolvency. Employees have left in floods. The news isn't all bad though; rumour has it that they've set up a new company to rise from the ashes of the late manufacturer with the name SuPoX, and that they are to take on EPoX's former product lines. We'll keep you posted."
