Thinkpad T61 Preview - Thinkpad T61 Preview

Over the past few weeks there has been scattered news from tech outlets about Intel's upcoming Santa Rosa technology. Santa Rosa, which will begin to come to market this month, is the fourth generation of the Centrino platform. Along with the internal upgrades Lenovo took this chance to release a few new notebooks as well. The news, which broke before anything official was announced, was that the T series and the R series would be getting 14.1" widescreen models, the T61 and R61 respectively. The arrival of 14" widescreen T and R series systems made it clear that the Z series is being phased out and that the Rs are finally starting to catch up to the rest of the Thinkpads.
