Automated Error Reporting The Automated Error Reporting makes it easier for users to report technical support issues.

6. New! Extensive application scope SYSmark 2007 Preview includes a robust and refreshed set of applications covering a wide range of Video creation, E-learning, 3D Modeling and Office Productivity categories.

7. Broad Industry Representation BAPCo's SYSmark 2007 Preview builds upon its predecessors utilizing the strongest and broadest development team in PC benchmark history. BAPCo's depth of membership represents the breadth of the computing industry and harnesses a consortium of experts. BAPCo’s current membership includes: AMD, Apple, ARCintuition, Atheros Communications, CNET, Compal Electronics, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Lenovo, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Toshiba, VNU Business Publications Limited (UK), ZDNet, and Ziff Davis Media.

8. Extensive Research SYSmark 2007 Preview’s development process is an output-driven methodology as it works backward from a representative output to determine a representative workload. In selecting the applications that would create the output in the benchmark, BAPCo uses a variety of different sources to obtain market segment share data for applications used by business users in creating their output.

9. New! Concurrent measurement methodology for Windows® Vista™ and XP BAPCo uses its state-of-the-art benchmarking technologies by devising methods for accurate and realistic measurement of concurrent tasks. SYSmark 2007 Preview works like you do and features enhancements to emulate real life as closely as possible.

10. Response time methodology Response time, in the context of SYSmark 2007 Preview, is defined as the time it takes the computer to complete a task that has been initiated by the automated script. In SYSmark 2007 Preview, only the response time of individual operations is included in the performance metric. SYSmark 2007 Preview does not measure the time to send keystrokes and mouse clicks to the application. In the real world, these tasks are initiated and controlled by a human and therefore do not measure computer performance. This allows think time to be included in the workloads to more accurately reflect how humans interact with the PC.
