Shipments for the top four Taiwan-based motherboard makers dropped or held still in February. Asustek took the lead with 4.34 million units, which was a 21% drop on month, while ECS (Elitegroup Computer System) shipped 1.63 million, a 23.56% drop on month. MSI (Micro-Star International) and Gigabyte Technology both held still over the month having shipped 1.3-1.4 million units and 1.1 million respectively.
